The UGC NET 2024 exam has been rescheduled to June 18th. Originally planned for June 16th, the National Testing Agency (NTA) listened to candidate feedback and shifted the date to better accommodate everyone. This nationwide exam will be conducted for 83 subjects on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC).

UGC NET JRF June 2024: Age Limit Details
1. JRF: Maximum Age: 31 Years
2.NET: No Age Limit

Educational Qualification:
1. A candidate must have a Master’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in their qualifying examination, while SC/ST/PWD/OBC-NCL/Third Gender candidates need only. 50% marks.
2. Candidates who are appearing in the final year of their Postgraduate examination are also eligible to apply for UGC NET June 2024.
3. One who has pursued a four-year i.e. eight-semester Bachelor’s degree or in the last semester/year is also eligible to participate in the UGC NET June 2024.
UGC NET June 2024 Exam Pattern:
1. Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test
2. Duration: 3 Hours
3. Type of Questions: Objective type, multiple-choice questions
4. Papers: Paper I & Paper II
5. Total Marks: 300 marks
6. Number of Questions: 150 questions (Paper I: 50 questions, Paper II: 100 questions)
7. Language: The question paper medium is Hindi and English.
8. Marking Scheme: 2 marks for every correct response
9. Negative Marking: No negative marking for wrong answers
