AGE LIMIT:
• To apply for the MP Pre-Agriculture Test 2024, a candidate has to pay the application fee of ₹500 if he or she belongs to the General; aspirants belonging to Other Backward Class, Schedule Castes,s and Scheduled Tribes will have to pay only ₹250. One will have to pay if using any other provided payment gateway.
MP PAT Exam Pattern 2024:
1. The Employees Selection Board, Madhya Pradesh will hold the Pre-Agriculture Test 2024 in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates who are going to participate in the exam need to know that there will be a total number of 200 objective questions from different sections such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Agriculture.
2. The exam will take place with an exam time duration of 03 hours i.e. 180 minutes, each MCQ will be of 1 mark, and there will be no provision of negative marking for incorrect answers. The medium of the exam will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi.
MP PAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
1. For B.Sc. Agriculture/ Horticulture courses:
a). Qualification: Candidates must pass the 12th level or equivalent from any recognized board.
b). Subject: In the qualifying exam, candidates must pass Physics, Chemistry, and any one of the subjects from Mathematics, English, Agriculture, and Forestry.
c). Appearing: Those candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in 2024 will also be eligible to apply for the exam.
2. For B. Tech Agriculture Engineering courses:
Qualification: The candidates must qualify for 12th intermediate or equivalent from any recognized board or university.
Subjects: Candidates must pass the above exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English (PCME)
MP PAT 2024 Exam Pattern:
1. Mode of exam: The exam will be conducted via offline mode (pen and paper-based).
2. No. of Questions: There will be a total of 200 questions asked in the paper.
3.Duration: A total of 3 hours will be allotted to candidates.
4. Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are asked in the question paper.
6. Medium: The exam will be conducted in English and Hindi language.
7. Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, 1 mark will be given to candidates. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
MP PAT 2024 Syllabus:
MP PAT 2024 Syllabus will be prescribed by the MP Vyapam. It covers 11th and 12th-class subject topics such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Agriculture.
The detailed syllabus will be as:
1. Physics: Work energy and power, Unit and dimensions, Motion in two dimensions, universal law of gravitation, periodic motion, wave nature of light, the human eye, defects of vision, magnification and resolving power of the telescope, Ohm’s law, etc.
2. Chemistry: Inorganic Chemistry, General and Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Solid State, General ion effect.
3. Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate Geometry of Two Dimensions, Co-ordinate Geometry of Three Dimensions, Differential Calculus, Vector Algebra, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Statistics, Numerical Methods, Linear Programming.
4. Botany: Structural organization of the cell, Mendel’s law of inheritance, Difference between prokaryotes and Eukaryotes, five kingdom classification binomial nomenclature, Tissue systems, food preservations, etc.
